Here are the Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence bills we believe you may find interesting. Open for COMMENT NOW and Public Comment on Wednesday:
- OPPOSING: HB2799 by DUTTON – makes courts LESS accountable, especially Family Courts
- SUPPORTING: HB5411 by HAYES – Judges must disclose donations to all parties
- SUPPORTING: HB4388 by HOLT – Judges cannot abdicate authority to others; this one is very important!!!
- SUPPORTING: HB1387 by VIRDELL – Paralegals can work legal cases under certain circumstances; this starts the path to finally remove the State Bar of Texas.
